Helping Women Through Transition
The
Women's Center is committed to helping women gain personal
and economic self-sufficiency and reach their full potential through
education, job readiness, networking, outreach, and referrals.
The
Women's Center helps women through major transitions, with
focus especially on women who are: separated, divorced, widowed, or
whose spouses have become disabled.
We
provide:

with resume writing and interviewing skills

Assistance
with job placement

Life
skills training

Individual
development plan for career advancement

Computer
training
We
create opportunities and offer free services for women that include:

Educational
and vocational counseling

Interest
and aptitude assessment

on financial aid for education
We
offer workshops in:
The
Women's Center is located in a professional setting ensuring
confidentiality and a commitment to helping clients reaching their
goals.
The
Women's Center provides a supportive environment in which to
exchange ideas, develop new skills and meet other women.
The
Women's Center is funded by the Division on Women, New
Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
