Holocaust Survivor Services

JFVS is the recipient of multiple grants to support Holocaust survivors.  The grants provide for case management services, home-delivered meals, personal care, housekeeping services, socialization programs, and transportation. Also, special funding is available for a socialization program for Holocaust survivors and their spouses. This program, called Café Europa, is free to holocaust survivor and meets four times a year. The group encourages strengthening of the social bonds between those that have shared in their perseverence. Additionally, a mid day kosher meal is provided, as well as musical performances, dance troups, and other stimulating entertainment.
